Is it a Google metric?
No. Google does not publicly use Ahrefs Domain Rating as its own metric and it does not guarantee search rankings.
How to interpret the result
A high DR does not guarantee rankings, traffic, sales or conversions. SEO depends on many factors, including relevance, content, user experience and link quality.
